Your Company Profile allows you to define your brand and provide a unified, instantly recognizable look to all of your marketing content. Your company profile is used in your automatically generated email, landing pages, and ad templates.
This article includes information on how to update the following aspects of the Company Profile:
- Address & contact details
- Logo
- Colors
- Custom fonts
- Typography
Note: Only users with Administrator access can update the company profile.
Opening the Company Profile
To open your Company Profile, complete the following steps:
- Select the Settings icon in the upper right corner of your Upsales screen.
- Select Settings.
- From the left-hand menu, select Company Profile from the Marketing section.
Updating the Address & Contact Details
Your Company Address & contact details most often appear in the footer of your pages and emails. This information makes it easier for your readers to reach you.
To update the Address & contact details, complete the following steps:
- On the Company Profile screen, select the Address & contact details tab.
- Update your Company name to appear on your templates.
- Enter the Address information for readers to contact you.
- Enter the Phone number for readers to contact you.
- Enter the Email for readers to contact you.
- Select Save.
Uploading Logos
Your logo is an important part of your brand that you want clearly visible in your default templates. Since some templates have darker backgrounds and are more suitable with a light logo, we encourage you to upload two different logos--one for a dark background and one for a light background. You can upload a logo by selecting an image file from your computer or by entering a URL where a logo file is stored.
To add or change your logo, complete the following steps:
- Select the Logo tab on the Company Profile screen.
- If you want to upload a logo image file:
- Select the Change button on the dark or bright background logo placeholders.
- Drag the image or select the link to locate the file. You can also select from one of your previously uploaded image files.
- Select Save at the bottom of the screen.
- If you want to use a logo from a URL:
- Select the Enter URL button on the dark or bright background logo placeholders.
- Enter the URL link for the image you want to use and select Save.
- Select Save at the bottom of the screen.
Changing Colors
You can define four primary colors to use in your default templates for mail, advertising and landing pages. The primary colors are used for automatically generated Upsales templates and are readily available when editing content. However, you can change your templates to use any colors. You can also define any number of Extra Colors, which are not used in automatically generated content, but will be available when editing content.
To set your primary company profile colors, complete the following steps:
- On the Company Profile screen, select the Colours tab.
- Enter a HEX code or select a color from the color picker for each of the following:
- Main color
- Button
- Content background
- Background
- To define an extra color:
- Select the + under Extra Colors.
- Enter the HEX code or select a color from the colour picker.
- Select Add.
- Select Save at the bottom of the screen.
You can delete an extra color by selecting the X at the top right of the color. It will be removed when the page is refreshed.
Custom Fonts
You can add fonts from thousands of options available on Google Fonts and use these fonts in your forms and landing pages.
Note: Custom fonts cannot be used in emails you send via Upsales.
To add custom fonts to your company profile complete the following steps:
- On the Company Profile screen, select the Custom fonts tab.
- Select Add font.
- Start typing the name of the font in the Font field. Or you can select Browse on Google Fonts to open a new browser window to allow you to search through fonts directly on the Google Fonts website.
- Your selected font will display with its variations in the right side of the window.
- Select Save.
- You can repeat to add multiple fonts to your profile. Your selected fonts display on the Company Profile page and will be available when creating forms and landing pages.
Changing Typography
The Typography section of the Company Profile allows you to control the font family, size, color and formatting for each type of content in your templates, for both fornts & landing pages, and emails, including:
- Main title
- Secondary title
- Preamble
- Paragraph
- Link
- Button
To set your company profile typography, complete the following steps for each type of content:
- On the Company Profile page, select the Typography tab.
- Select the Forms & landing pages or Email tab to include which fonts you are selecting.
Note: Custom fonts are not available for emails. - Select the Font family from the drop down list of select web-friendly fonts. Any custom fonts you have added to your profile are listed first.
- Select the Text Size from the drop down list.
- Define the Text Color by entering the HEX code or selecting a color from the color picker.
- Define additional formatting by selecting the Bold, Underline, and/or Italics icons.
- Select a color for Buttons by entering a HEX code or selecting a color from the color picker.
- Define a color for Footer links by entering a HEX code or selecting a color from the color picker.
- Define a color for Footer text by entering a HEX code or selecting a color from the color picker.
- Select Save at the bottom of the screen.
