The assigned to column shows if anyone has any open activities or planned appointments with the company. If there's no one processing the company, simply click the button to assign a user to get the sales process going.
The different statuses
There's an open activity and appears to be an ongoing dialog with the company. Great!
There's a late activity (date is in red). Might be a good idea to look into why.
There's an open activity on an inactive user. Click to move the activity, or re-assign the company, to an active user.
There's no open activities or planned appointments. Click the button to assign the company to a user!
If more than one user has an open activity or appointment, Upsale will show the account manager first.
What happens when I assign a user to a company?
- The user is notified via email
- An activity is created on the company
- The user becomes the account manager. Unless there's already an account manager and you've limited the number and account managers to one.
