To handle users in your account different statuses can be applied to them, this is why:
Active
When creating a user this is the default setting.
- A user set to Active acquires a slot in your Upsales plans max number of included users.
- Active users are available when searching, exporting, and creating reports
What a user can do and see inside Upsales is determined by their role and access settings.
Inactive
- Users do not take up a slot in your Upsales plans max number of users
- Inactive users are available when searching, exporting, and creating reports
- Inactive users do not have access to log in to your account
What happens to the companies with an inactive user is set as the account manager?
The inactive user will still be set as the account manager for the companies. You can edit this by either using the advanced search feature or the company list:
- Filter companies by selecting the 'Account manager filter' and select the removed user in the field.
- With the multi-action, select all rows and click 'Update company'
- In the 'Update company' the dialog that appears remove the inactive user
- Click 'Save'
- Done! All companies with the inactive user set as account manager will no longer have the inactive user as the account manager.
Removed
- Users do not take up a slot in your package maximum number of included users
- Inactive users are not available when searching, exporting and creating reports
- Inactive users do not have access to log in to your account
What happens to the companies which a removed user is set as the account manager?
The removed user will simply be removed as the account manager for these companies.
