Date filters
These are dynamic to guide you based on your chosen criteria. The examples below are from Upsales Insights:
Example 1: Complete dates
Choose is in the past 3 months. Upsales offers you the option to choose complete months. This would exclude the current month:
Example 2: relative or absolute
Choose is before and Upsales offers you a choice between absolute and relative periods:
| Filter name | Use when you want to |
| Anytime | Show all time periods in your Upsales account. Also useful for testing dashboards before launching. |
| Is before | Choose between absolute (fixed day) or relative (in relation to the day). See example 2 above |
| Is in the past | Choose past and current period. For example, use In the past 3 months to measure sales for the current month and 2 previous. |
| Is on the day | View data for an exact date |
| Is in range |
Customise time periods. Note the "until" field asks you to choose the date before the range end. So if your range is April, set the range until 1 May: |
| Is in the year | View data for a specific year |
