Activate P:E Accounting app
- Click the Settings icon in the upper right corner of your Upsales screen.
- Click App directory.
- Locate P:E Accounting in the Apps list
- On the next screen, click Activate
- Click Accept terms to continue.
What can be synced?
Syncing companies
Companies sync from Upsales to PE Accounting when the company has a sale registered in Upsales (100% probability in the defined sales board stage). Further updates will be made to PE Accounting only if a new order is placed on the company in Upsales.
Syncing products
Products are synced to PE Accounting from Upsales when order is placed, or an opportunity change to correct order stage (100% probability).
Syncing orders
The integration will create an invoice in PE Accounting when an order is placed, or an opportunity change to correct order stage (100% probability). You can change the order in Upsales, and the changes will sync to PE Accounting as long as you have not attested the invoice in PE Accounting. If the invoice is attested you can not make changes on the order in Upsales.
Setting up the P:E Accounting app
Required settings to start sync orders to PE Accounting
To start setting up the PE Accounting app, contact PE Accounting customer service to obtain company ID and your API token.
- Enter PE Accounting Company ID, once you've obtained it from PE accounting customer service
- Enter API token, once you've obtained it from PE accounting customer service.
- Define which stage an opportunity will have in the sales board to trigger and order to PE accounting.
Now the P:E Accounting app is set up to start syncing orders from Upsales. You can, however, configure many more settings. See the explanation below.
Good to know before activating the appUpsales will add Upsales customer-, order- and product-ID in P:E accounting. If you are already using this fields for other integrations please contact Upsales before you activate the app.
Setting up Custom Fields with PE Accounting app
To have full control of how your invoices appear, when synced from Upsales, set up data fields in PE Accounting app with Custom Fields on Order Row and/or Company. If you're not familiar with Custom Fields in Upsales, find out about Custom Fields here.
Hierarchy of data fields: If there's data in Order fields this will be used, if no data in Order fields is found then Company field will be used, and if there's no data in either Order or Company fields then Default setting will be used.
