When creating an email template, the information from the company profile is automatically included in the email design. This so you won't have to re-build your designs every time you create a new email. However, there might be occasions where you wish to remove or adjust default company settings in an email. Note that most country's email marketing laws state that you must include a valid postal address of your business when sending commercial emails.
To change the default setting in your email template > go to the cog wheel icon in the upper right corner. Here you can:
- Set the Background color.
- Set the Page header on/off.
- Change between company profile your logos or “use own image".
- Set the Footer on/off and adapt the text of the unsubscribe list.
Changing the logo
The logos to choose from are the ones added to your company profile in the settings menu. If choosing your own image, you can choose from your image library or upload a new one to the existing library.
Removing the footer
Remember that if you remove the footer, you will need to add a visible unsubscribe link in the template (if used in a mail campaign). You will find the tag for the end subscription link under "Insert tag" in the text editor column.
You can also edit the text of the unsubscribe link in the footer under the heading "Unsubscribe link".
