Setup

Click on the "Click to connect"-button to set up access.

Check the items you want to be imported:

• Contacts
• Email Campaigns
• Audiences

Please note:

Make sure that you have configured the email settings in Upsales before you activate this app or the email events in the email campaigns will not be synced.

Contacts

Data that is synced:

• Name
• Email
• Phone number
• Customer *

* Mailchimp does not have the concept of customers, Upsales on the other hand requires that every contact be mapped to a customer. To resolve this issue we create customers from the contact's email address. The customer name becomes the name of the email's domain if they are using a custom domain else we default to the customer "Private Emails".
Example: a contact with the email address name@upsales.com would be created on a Company called Upsales.

Audiences

Audiences are synced as campaigns.

Email Campaigns

Data that is synced

• Name
• Date
• Recipients
• Delivered emails
• Opened emails
• Clicked links
