Widgets show the specific sales or marketing information from your Upsales account on the selected slide for Upsales TV. You can show the following information on your Upsales TV slides:
- Sales
- Business Opportunities
- Activities
- Meetings
- Website visits
- Forms
- Mass mailing
You can also build your own custom widgets to view additional data from your favorite sources. Contact Upsales Support if you want to build custom widgets.
To add a widget, complete the following steps.
- Select the + at the bottom of the slide where you want the widget to appear.
- On the Create widget screen, select the Type of widget you want to add.
- Apply the Widget Settings for the selected widget type. Refer to the applicable Applying Widget Settings section below for more information.
- Select Save.
Applying Widget Settings for Sales Widgets
When you add or edit a widget for a slide on your Upsales TV channel, you can configure what information is shown and how the information is shown.
To configure a Sales widget, complete the following steps.
- After you have selected the Type of widget, the Widget Settings screen displays. You can choose a different type of Sales widget from the icons under Type of widget. The specific fields vary, depending on the Type of widget you selected.

- Select whether to use the applicable Date to use for determining which data to show (i.e., when the sale is closed or invoiced; when the business opportunity is closed or created,; when the activity type is created, completed or planned; or the meeting was booked, completed, or planned).
- Select which Phases or Activity Types to include by checking one or more boxes or Select All.
- If applicable, select which Products to include by checking one or more boxes or Select All.
- Select which Group (User, Role, Product or Product Category) to display from the drop down list.
- Select the time Period to use in the display.
- Select which Users to include by checking one or more boxes or Select All.
- Select a display format (i.e., chart, table, etc.) for the widget.
- Enter a Name for the widget to display on the slide.
- Indicate any additional information for the widget. For example, some types and display formats allow you to change the Label appearance (text, picture or both). You can obtain quotas from Upsales or override that information by entering a Budget.
- Select Save.
You can remove the widget by selecting the Remove widget icon at the bottom left corner of the widget.
Applying Widget Settings for Marketing Widgets
When you add or edit a widget for a slide on your Upsales TV channel, you can configure what information is shown and how the information is shown.
To configure a Marketing widget, complete the following steps.
- After you have selected the Type of widget, the Widget Settings screen displays. You can choose a different type of Marketing widget from the icons under Type of widget. The specific fields vary, depending on the Type of widget you selected.

- Select which applicable Data to show (i.e., the number of Visits, the Lead Sources toplist, or the most visited pages; Sent email or Open/clicked email; or check one or more boxes to indicate which Form(s) to show).
- If applicable, select which Pages or Mailings to include by checking one or more boxes or Select All.
- Select the time Period to use in the display.
- Select a display format (i.e., chart, table, etc.) for the widget, if applicable. Some widgets only have one format option.
- Enter a Name for the widget to display on the slide.
- Select Save.
You can remove the widget by selecting the Remove widget icon at the bottom left corner of the widget.
