If you are a Scrive customer, you can take advantage of the Scrive app to securely upload, send and sign documents from anywhere on any device. Scrive helps increase confidence in your business and saves you time and money. It is SSL encrypted, legally binding, and complies with all laws related to electronic signatures. You can include extra security with two-step authentication, Bank ID or an SMS pin.
The Upsales Scrive app also allows you to see who has received, opened and signed your documents.
Prerequisite: You must be a Scrive customer to use this app to send e-sign documents.
This article explains the process for connecting Scrive with Upsales, which includes steps by the account Administrator and steps by each user.
- The Administrator must activate the app for your company's Upsales account and choose the default settings. These default settings apply to all users.
- The Users must each also activate the app on their own profiles and connect their own calendars to Upsales.
Activating and Setting Defaults for the Scrive App for All Users (Administrator)
The Administrator of the account activates the Scrive app and sets the default settings, which will apply to all users in the account.
To activate the Scrive app, complete the following steps:
- Select the Settings icon in the upper right corner of your Upsales screen.
- Select Apps.

- From the Apps list, select Scrive.

- On the Scrive screen, select Activate.

The Scrive app has been activated and published to the team. Users will need to activate the app on their own profiles and connect their individual Scrive accounts before sending e-sign documents using the Scrive app.
The Review email field on the Scrive app screen applies for all users in your Upsales account. This field allows you to add one email that will be a reviewer for all contracts sent through the Scrive app.
To set the Review email, complete the following steps.
- Still on the Scrive app screen, enter the Review email for the person who should be added as a reviewer for all contracts in your Upsales account through the Scrive app.

- Select Save.
Connecting Your Individual Scrive Account to Upsales (Each User)
Once your administrator has activated the app, you can connect your Scrive account to Upsales.
To connect your Scrive account, complete the following steps.
- From the left-hand menu, select Scrive under My Profile.

- On the Scrive screen, select Activate.

- On the Accept Terms window, select Accept terms to indicate that you have read and agree to the terms of the connection between Upsales and your Scrive account.
- Select Click to connect.
- Enter your Scrive Username and Password.
- Select Log in and grant privileges.
- On the next screen, select Grant privileges.
- Select Save.

Log out of Upsales and log back in to activate the app.
Now you are ready to use the Scrive Integration to send e-sign documents.
If you wish to disconnect your Scrive account, select Delete.
