Planning to import data? Import Settings is where you can add extra information to all companies and contacts.
You can also tell Upsales how to handle multiple matches, and where to send a status email when your import has finished processing.
You'll see plenty of settings for your import:

Mark whether to Add the user as account manager or Set as sole account manager. You can mark this Only for new companies, so account managers for existing companies won't be changed during import.

More than one match in the import file?
If Upsales finds more than one company or contact that matches an instance in your CRM, you can either skip it from your import file or make a duplicate instance.
For example: You want to import a company that already has two versions in the system. The import creates a third version, rather than try to guess which version to match.
Tip! When you choose "skip row", no duplicate is created and no data from that row is imported.
