Once you've saved your landing page, you can change how the link will appear when posting it on social media.
In technical terms, this is called an "og:image" which is a part of the Open Graph protocol used by most social media sites.
To change the social media preview image, complete the following steps:
- Open the saved landing page.
- Hover your mouse over the image in the Social media preview and select Change preview image.
- To upload an image, select the Click to select an image link and navigate to the image you want to use.
- Click the Select button when hovering over the uploaded image you want to use.
- To change the social media preview page text, select Edit. You can edit the Title and the Description. When you click elsewhere on the screen, the information will be updated.
Recommended sizes for your preview image
Since each site has its own recommendations for the image size and it's width/height ratio there's really no way to recommend a proper image size, sorry. But as of August 2020, the most commonly used seems to be 1200 x 630px which results in an image width/height ratio of 1.9:1.
