When you create a new event, or open an event that has been launched, the event opens with a left panel, a dashboard, a details tab, a guest list tab, and a planning tab:

The left panel for a launched event displays the event overview, showing how many contacts have signed up and how many contacts have been invited.
- Select Open Check-in mode to launch Check-in mode if you have staff without Upsales access who are helping check in guests at the event.
- If your event includes a landing page, you can copy links either directly to the landing page, or pre-tracked links optimized for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or Instagram. Hover your mouse over the link you want to use and select Copy. If you want to include all channels with your post-event statistics, remember to use these tracked links. After your event, the statistics for these links are available on the event dashboard. You can create additional custom links for tracking using UTM tags.
Select the Details tab for a launched event to change any of the event details from when you created the event. Note that these details are used with dynamic tags, so that your associated resources will update with the edited event details.
You can also launch the event using the arrow next to the Draft status.
Duplicating an Event
To create an event using the same details (except the date), guest list, and resources as this event, select the duplicate icon in the top right of the open event.

On the confirmation screen, select Duplicate event.
A new event is created with the same details and resources. You’ll need to enter a new date and time and select new contacts before launching the event.
Cancelling an Event
If for some reason, you have to cancel an event, it’s easy to remove and stop all of the automated resources associated with the event.
To cancel an event, complete the following steps:
- Open the launched event from your events list.
- Select the arrow next to Event status Launched in the upper right corner.
- Select Cancel event.
Forms are locked from further submits and automated resources are paused. You can still send emails to the contacts who signed up to tell them that the event is cancelled.
You can find the cancelled event on the Cancelled tab of the events list. You can make a duplicate event from the cancelled event to use the same details (except the date) and the same resources.
