Prerequisite: You must have at least one segment defined before you can create a flow.
To create a new flow, complete the following steps:
- Select New flow from the top of the Flows list. Or you can select Create flow from the segment you want to use.
- To start building your flow quickly, select Start from a template and choose one of the following:
- Event invitation and reminders - send event invitation, reminder and follow-up emails
- Onboarding after trial sign up - send a series of welcome emails or best practice tips
- Cold prospect nurturing - process contacts who aren’t interested in the latest marketing campaign
- Enter the Name to help you identify this flow.
- Select from the Segment drop down list the segment that defines the filters for contacts who should be included in this flow.
- Enter a time frame during which to send emails in this flow for When to send emails?
- Select the Time Zone for when the emails will be sent.
- Activate the Don’t send on weekends toggle if you only want emails sent during the business week.
- Select Start editing.
The flow opens. It remains in draft status until you edit the flow and activate it.
