To create a new segment, complete the following steps:
- Select New segment from the top of the Segments list.
- Enter the Segment name to help identify this segment when using it in email campaigns, events and flows.
- Enter a Description to help identify this segment.
- Toggle the Active button to activate or inactivate a segment.
- Select Continue.
The segment opens but does not have contacts added until you identify the criteria you want to use for this segment.
