A: If you have an unidentified website visit that becomes identified by, for example, a contact that fills out a form, the history of the website visit will change from unidentified to identified and be displayed as the identified company/contact.
This applies to earlier visits made from the same browser, since visits are linked through the tracking cookie. Visits from another device or browser, or from before the cookie was cleared, stay unidentified. Earlier visits that are already linked to a contact keep that contact.
