Sales is a numbers game and figuring out how to reach a target is often done by counting backward to find out the effort needed. Here's how it's done:
Calculating the sales ratio
Based on historical sales data Upsales can figure out how good a user is in the different stages of your sales cycle. It's a traditional method used by many sales organisations to set targets and visualise low-efficiency-stages in a user's sales cycle.

The correlation between these metrics is what we call the sales ratio.
Where can I find the feature?
Administrators can:
- Click Settings → CRM → Targets and select a target
- In the table shown, click Calculate target:
- In the dialog that appears, enter the desired sales goal for your user and the effort will be automatically calculated.
Option to not use specific target types
In each target section of the calculator dialog, you will find a toggle to deactivate that type. When clicking 'Save targets' only the targets marked as active will be activated:
