Sales is a numbers game and figuring out how to reach a target is often done by counting backward to find out the effort needed. Here's how it's done:
Calculating the sales ratio
Based on historical sales data Upsales can figure out how good a user is in the different stages of your sales cycle. It's a traditional method used by many sales organizations to set targets and visualize low-efficiency-stages in a user's sales cycle.

Completed appointments
Booked appointments
Phone calls

The correlation between these metrics is what we call the sales ratio.
Where can I find the feature?
First of all, you need to have the user privilege of Administrator in your Upsales account which enables you to set targets for your users.
- Inside Upsales, head to Settings > CRM > Targets and select a sales goal
- In the table shown a link reading "Target calculator" should be visible, Click it.
- In the dialog that appears, enter the desires sales goal for your user and the effort will be automatically calculated.
Option to not use specific target types
In each target section of the calculator dialog, you will find a toggle to disable that type. When clicking 'Save targets' only the targets marked as active will be activated.
