Appointments you book in Upsales are added to your Google Calendar by the Google Calendar app. If an appointment is missing, check the following.
- You have connected your Google account. The Google Calendar app is connected per user. Open the app's settings and click Authorize on Google. Only appointments created after you connected are added to your calendar.
- The appointment has not already ended. Appointments in the past are not added.
- Who booked the appointment. An appointment is added to the Google Calendar of the user who created it in Upsales. Changes made by other users are not sent to Google Calendar. If a colleague books an appointment and adds you to it, you receive it as an invitation from your colleague's Google Calendar. Your colleague needs to have connected their own Google account for this to happen.
If the appointment was booked by someone you haven't interacted with before, Google doesn't add the invitation to your calendar automatically. You'll need to change your Google settings.
- Go to your Google Calendar
- Click Settings → General → Event settings
- Under Add invitations to my calendar, select From everyone:
- When an appointment is arranged, you'll see a notification that asks you to click I know the sender:
