How to set a default sender profile for your email campaigns.
Email campaigns require the Marketing Automation or Email Marketing add-on. The domain of the default email (companyname.com in info@companyname.com) must be added and verified under Settings → Marketing → Domains, see How to add an email domain. A campaign can't be sent from a domain that isn't verified.
- Click Settings → Marketing → Email settings. If the page shows the Terms of service, read them and click I accept the terms to show the settings.
- Add the Default email. This is often generic and not attached to one person. For example, info@companyname.com
- Add the Sender profile name, the name recipients see as the sender. This is usually your company name.
- Under Company information, add your company Name (required), Address, Postcode, City, Country and Phone (this helps to comply with anti-SPAM rules)
- Add a Disclaimer. This can be used anywhere in email templates using the tag ‘General.CompanyDisclaimer’:
