ARR change date
The dimensions here explore at the timestamp of when a change in ARR occurs on a client. There are two main ways to use these dimensions;
1, Filtering on a certain time period: If you want your view to only use data from a certain time period, for example, ARR changes per client this year, or this month, you use these dimensions for filtering.
2, Breaking down the result per time period: If you want to break down ARR changes per month, year or week, you can use these dimensions in the result set by adding them before running the view.
Bisnode Data
These dimensions are dependent on your clients being connected to Bisnode.
These dimensions group your clients depending on their industry, number of employees etc. There are two main ways to use these dimensions;
1, Filtering on a Bisnode dimension: If you want your result to only show data from a certain industry, or from companies with a certain number of employees, you can filter on these dimensions.
2, Breaking down the result per selected Bisnode dimension: If you want to break down ARR changes per Industry or number of employees, you can use these dimensions in the result set by adding them before running the view.
Company
This view label contains the important measures regarding ARR changes, Companies with ARR, and ARR Change type (as well as some other stuff). Rather than explaining every measure/dimension in this article, we have added explanations to be viewed directly in Insights! Convenient, huh? Hover your mouse pointer over the small "i"-icons next to each measure to get an explanation.
The measures in this view label are the foundation of this whole explore. Breaking these measures down by the dimensions explained above creates some really interesting views. A few examples below:
Total ARR per industry:
This is an easy, yet interesting view to create. Select the measure "ARR" under the view label "Company", and select "Industry (Bisnode)" under the view label "Bisnode Data". Press Run.
This view gives you an overview of all the industries you have clients in, and how much ARR you have in each industry. This view can be displayed as a table, column chart or something else.
New/churned customers per month YTD:
This view gives an overview of how many clients you have gained/lost per month this year.
Select "Month Name" under the "ARR Change Date" view label. Filter on "Date" under the same view label, and set the filter to "Is in the past 1 years".
Select the measures "New Customers" and "Churned Customers" under the "Company" view label. Press run.
If you want to go the extra mile, you can create a table calculation to calculate the net value every month. Read more about table calculations here.
