When adding Swedish companies to Upsales using Company Data Hub, you can view their board members, and if they sit on other boards. This can be a route to referrals for cross-selling.
How to display the board of directors list on companies
Activate Company Data Hub
You'll need to have Billing admin permission to activate this.
Adding new companies
When Company Data Hub is active you can either add a new company to Upsales and selecting the company from the Company Data Hub search results. Once the company is added, enter the contact list of that company and any board members should be visible.
Updating already added companies
If you've already added a company to Upsales, either manually or from another data source, you can easily fetch the company data from the Company Data Hub database instead.
- Open the company card
- In the top-right corner, click the update company icon:
- Select Prospecting as the data source for the incoming company data:
- Click the Update button next to the company:
- Click the Contacts tab to view listed board members:
Adding a board member as a contact
Scroll down to Board of directors and click Add to Upsales:

If the board member is already added to your Upsales account, click the dropdown next to Add to Upsales and choose Merge with another contact:

With each board member, you receive their full name, assignment role, how long they've had that role, and also any additional board assignments (useful for cross-selling, as shown below).

Sometimes contacts are members of multiple boards for multiple companies, giving you a potential route to finding hidden leads.
Click Show companies to view where else a contact is a board member.
Upsales then displays a list of companies and contact's role in those boards. Click Add to Upsales to include them in your data:
