How to accrue order sums with Revenue Recognition

Permission needed:
All users
Available with Product:
Revenue Recognition

When the total revenue of an order is divided over time you can accrue the order sum per month.

  1. Activate Revenue Recognition
  2. Create an opportunity and click the Save the order to accrue order sum button:

  3. Add the start and end date for the accrual
  4. Click Distribute evenly to have the sum allocated equally over the period you specified:

  5. Or you can manually enter the amount (click the arrow to have the amount apply to all following months):

    apply.jpg

  6. Click Save accrual when you're done:

    save.jpg
