A Page is a small custom screen built inside Upsales — a table, a dashboard, a checklist, a company-card panel — that shows your CRM data the way your team wants to see it. You describe what you want and the page builder writes it.
Availability: Pages is being rolled out gradually and is not yet switched on for every account. If you cannot see Pages next to AI Workspace in the AI section of the top navigation, your account does not have it yet — talk to your Upsales contact.
This article covers:
- What a Page is for
- Where a Page can appear
- Creating one
- Previewing and going live
What a Page is for
Reports answer "what are the numbers". A Page answers "what should we be looking at, laid out the way we actually work". Typical examples:
- Renewals at risk — agreements renewing in the next 60 days with no recent contact, with the signal spelled out per row.
- Coaching: stalled deals — a rep-by-rep view a manager walks through in a one-to-one.
- A relationship map on the company card, showing who knows whom at the account.
If the report centre already does the job, use the report centre. Pages are for the views it cannot express.
Where a Page can appear
The Type column on the Pages list shows where a page lives:
-
Standalone page — its own screen, reached at its own URL (
/pages/renewals-at-risk). Use for team dashboards and working lists. - Navigation tab — its own tab in the top navigation.
- Company card or Contact card — a panel on the card itself, in the context of one account or contact. Use for anything a rep should see while looking at a customer.
- Order, Subscription, Appointment or Project — a panel inside that record.
You do not pick the type from a menu. Tell the page builder where the page should appear and it sets it; the type is then shown under the page name in the editor.
Note: only administrators can create pages that appear anywhere other than as a standalone page. If you are not an administrator, your pages are standalone pages.
Creating one
- Go to Pages in the AI section of the top navigation.
- Click + New. A new, untitled page opens straight away — there is no name or URL to fill in first.
- Describe the page you want in the chat on the left.
You are talking to a page builder — an agent that writes the page for you. Describe the outcome, not the layout:
"A table of agreements renewing in the next 60 days where nobody has been in contact for over a month. Show the account, the renewal date, the annual value, and how long since we last spoke."
It reads your real CRM data, writes the page, names it, and the result appears in the preview on the right. Then refine in the same conversation: "sort by value", "add a column for the account owner", "only my accounts". You can rename the page at any time by clicking its name at the top.
Tip: name the data you want, not the components. "Show annual value" works; "add a table widget with four columns" fights the builder.
Previewing and going live
The right-hand side is a live preview with your actual data — not a mock-up. For a page that sits on a record, such as the company card, pick a company (or order, or project) at the top to preview the page in that context.
A new page starts as a Draft, visible only to you. When it is right, click Go live. If you are not an administrator, a page you take live is Personal — live for you only. Only administrators can publish a page to the rest of the team. See How to edit, publish and share a Page.
