Deactivation is useful when a contact quits the company and you don't know where they moved to.
An alternative is to move the contact to another company.

How to set contacts as inactive
- Click Sales & CRM → Companies & contacts and the Contacts tab:
- Click the contact to open the Contact Card
- Click the edit icon:
- Click the Active toggle:
- When the contact is inactive you can't book appointments or plan activities on the contact.
