Upsales creates a template preview from an order you choose and shows it in your browser's built-in PDF viewer.

How the preview works
You can preview a template in two places:
- In the template editor, click Preview.
- In Settings → CRM → Document templates, hover over a template and click the eye icon.
Choose an order under Select order to preview. You can search for an order description or company name. Upsales fills in the template with that order's details, creates the PDF and opens it in the preview window. Click the download icon to save the PDF.
"The template you're attempting to preview is too large"
The template is over the size limit. Until you make it smaller, it can't be previewed or saved. Remove content from the template and click Preview again.
"There was a problem previewing this document"
Upsales could not create the PDF. While the PDF is created, each image is loaded from its Link to image address. If the images take longer than 10 seconds to load, the preview fails with this message. Replace images whose links load slowly, then preview again.
An image is missing from the preview
An image appears in the PDF only if its Link to image is a public web address starting with http:// or https://. Images on localhost or on an internal network address are left out.
