You can allow customers to submit online forms that connect straight into your Customer Support tickets. Create the forms in Upsales and embed them on your website or send to customers. Offer support and invite requests on their terms.
- Click Settings → Customer support → Ticket forms and click Create form:
- Enter the form name and this takes you to the form editor. This has two tabs: Fields and Design
- In the Field tab, hover over a field to edit or click the dropdown to add placeholder text:
- For the email field, click the toggle for Only allow business emails to prevent people using personal or free email service. To manage the disallowed domains, click Edit to add or remove any domain you wish:
- Click Add field to choose either Customer Support fields created in Upsales, or add your opt-in or other customised fields
- Select the Design tab to customise the form design
- When you've edited the fields and design, click Settings:
- Select the email address to receive form submissions, and then scroll to configure what happens after the form is submitted, in the After-submit-page section:
- You can edit the title and heading and add a content type that will show with the text. The available content types are:
- Button: Add a button with custom text and link
- File: Let the visitor download a file by clicking either a button or image
- Image: Show an image
- Text: Add as much text as you'd like with a rich text editor
- Video: Let the visitor watch a video
- Click your choice and add the content type. To change the content type, click Clear content type:
- You also have the option to click the Redirect to another page toggle, then add the full URL including https://:
- Google Analytics and other services can also be added to the form, in the Custom scripts section. Add your own, or paste custom scripts into the black box:
- When that's all done, click Publishing options:
- Here's where you can copy the form's URL to share as an online page (1), share on social media with UTM tracking (2), embed the form using an iframe (3), or embed and edit the raw code (4):
- When you're done, click Save & close and that's it! Your form is now available when you click Settings → Customer support → Ticket forms
