Context is the reference material an agent draws on: your price list, a qualification framework, tone-of-voice guidelines, a link to your product pages. Attach it once and the agent uses it in every conversation and every routine.
This article covers:
- Adding context
- What to put there
- Context, memory and knowledge

Adding context
- Go to AI Workspace → Agents and click the agent.
- Click Open agent page.
- Open the Context tab.
- Drop files onto the panel, or use Browse files, Add link or Write note.
Accepted: PDF, Excel, CSV, images and plain text, up to 25 MB per file. Add link takes a URL the agent should read; Write note is for something you would rather type than upload.
Note: this is per agent. Attaching your discount policy to one agent does not give it to the others. For something every agent should know, use Settings → Knowledge instead.
What to put there
Good candidates are stable documents an agent should follow rather than facts it can look up in the CRM:
- Pricing and discount rules
- A qualification framework, or the questions to ask on a first call
- Tone-of-voice or email guidelines
- Competitor battle cards
- A process document — how a handover works, what "won" requires
Do not put CRM data there. The agent reads companies, contacts, deals and activities live; a pasted export is out of date the moment you attach it.
Context, memory and knowledge
Three similar-sounding things, easy to mix up:
- Context — reference material for one agent. Documents and links. You add it.
- Memory — what an agent has learned about you as you work with it. Mostly it writes this itself. See What your assistant remembers about you.
- Knowledge — company-wide identity context every agent shares, set by an administrator under Settings → Knowledge.
Storage
The Context tab shows usage against a 50 MB limit per agent, and how many items are attached. Remove anything out of date — a superseded price list is worse than no price list, because the agent will use it confidently.
