Email campaigns: Warning when overworking contacts

This feature helps you maintain healthy relationships with your contacts, by limiting the number of emails they receive from your organisation.

Over-communication can lead to email fatigue, decreased engagement, and even unsubscribes. With this feature, you can control the frequency of emails sent to your contacts. You can ensure they receive only relevant and necessary information. You also reduce the risk of being seen as spamming or overwhelming them.

How to set a limit when the warning should appear

  1. Click Settings → Marketing → Email settings:

  2. Scroll down to Warn users when overworking contacts in emails
  3. Set the limit on how many emails a contact should receive in a given time period:

Upsales warns the user when they try to email a contact who's received the limit of emails.

The user can either send the email, or exclude the contact from the email recipients:
