When creating a new appointment or activity you can select what type it should be. For example, an activity can be a task or a telephone activity. On this page, you can add activity and appointment types. You can not remove activities or appointment types. Either change the name of the type or merge two types to create a new one.
Psst! Changing the name or merging two types all previous activities and appointments with that type will automatically get the new name.
You can set a default activity type so each time your user creates a new activity the type will be pre-set.
If you set a type to be 'First' the appointment will show in the sales board in the 'First appointment'-column.
The roles you add on this will be able to select the activity/appointment types when creating or editing activities or appointments.
If no role is selected there will be no restriction in the types visibility.
Activity & appointment types are found in Settings under CRM. You need to be an administrator to view and add types.
