Everyone gets one assistant. You can add more agents when you want work done by something with a narrower job and its own settings.
This article covers:
- Your assistant
- Personal agents
- Org-wide agents
- The org chart
Your assistant
Your assistant is created for you automatically and is the one you talk to by default. It is general-purpose: pipeline questions, meeting prep, research, drafting, setting up routines. It has the full set of tools and it is personal to you — nobody else sees your conversations with it.
Personal agents
A personal agent is one you create for a specific recurring job: a renewals watchdog, a deal debrief writer, an inbound lead qualifier. Keeping the job narrow is the point — an agent with one clear role and its own context does that job better than a general assistant juggling everything.
A personal agent belongs to you. It is marked Personal in the org chart, it uses your credit allowance, and its proposals land in your Inbox.
Org-wide agents
An org-wide agent is shared with the whole team. Use it when the work is not yours alone — a nightly summary the team reads, an agent that qualifies inbound leads for whoever picks them up.
To share an agent you already have, open it and click Make org-wide in the top right. Its spend then counts against organisation usage rather than only yours.
Note: making an agent org-wide means colleagues can see and use it. Check its Context first — anything you attached is shared with it.
The org chart
Agents in the sidebar shows the whole set as an org chart, with you at the top and your assistant marked LEAD beneath you. Click any agent to see its role and what it is permitted to do; Open agent page goes to its full settings — Identity, Mission, Context, Memory, Routines, Permissions and Chat.
Hire agents, next to Org chart, offers ready-made agents you can add rather than building from scratch.
