Video 3:28: How to work with email campaigns
There are several steps in the process of creating aincluding:
campaign,- Defining the campaign
- Choosing the email design
- Reviewing the email
- Sending or scheduling the email
- Analysing campaign results
Defining the campaign
- Click Marketing → Email campaigns:
- Click +New email campaign:
- Add an internal campaign name
- Click the What type of email is this? dropdown to choose one of your predefined subscription lists:
- Click Next: templates & design
Choosing the email design
- Choose a template:
- Hover over a template and either click Preview or Select:
- Edit your email
- Click recipients:
- Choose recipients based on their segment, sales campaign, or click Open contact list to choose specific contacts:
- Based on your contact list and your selection, the number of recipients is shown, as well as the number of recipients who have unsubscribed to the selected type of email:
- Click Settings and send
Reviewing the email
- Review the email name, sender, subject line and add pre-header text:
- Review the recipient list:
- Review links in the email:
- Add any attachments:
- Click Send or schedule:
Sending or scheduling the email
- Choose to send now or schedule and send later:
